Good News Club and Safely Home have been suspended until the schools or facilities can accomodate outside groups attending.

But here is what God IS Doing

Vacation Bible School

We had a great VBS this year with our theme, Destination Dig!  June 7th-11th was a great week of Bible, games, crafts and more!  We want to thank all the workers for serving and all the parents and family for getting those kids out to the "Dig Site"!  

Our mission statement is:  "We will honor God by taking His transformational message to our community through love, service and giving."

Good News Clubs are after-school clubs that emphasize character development such as kindness, honesty and respect!  Foothills sponsors two local Good News Clubs that meet in our neighborhood, Bunker Elementary and Tobler Elementary.  These clubs meet on Mondays after school, teaching children about God and the Good News He has for everyone.  

Covid 19 Update: We are waiting for the 2021 School year to see if on-campus clubs will be available at these locations.

Safely Home Refugee Ministry trains and equips volunteers from local churches to meet refugees resettled in Las Vegas where they are - a world away from the home they knew. Through these relationships refugees are empowered to become self-sufficient as they adjust and integrate into American culture. Experiencing God’s love through tangible acts of mercy, kindness and authentic friendships, our desire is that refugees are confident that they are "safely home." 

Some of the areas where we volunteer as a church are with ESL classes and childcare on Monday through Thursdays in the mornings, tuturing students with Homework Help on Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons at 3pm, or Saturday morning children's programs as we teach about God and His love for the nations.  Come join us and impact the world right here in Vegas!
